Unfortunately, this extremely good value for money accommodation is not going to last as they will close down and upgrade to a more luxurious venue in autumn 2008. Until that moment, Resor Seminyak offers good & clean (but not excellent) accommodation and direct beach access at a price which is significantly lower than the neighboring places. For those who don't care too much about the rooms, but rather focus on location, it is a perfect choice in Seminyak. If only it was too last...
The Hotel and facilities were excellent, everything was better than we had expected. The staffs are all so friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough to help

Stay for 5 nights in Resort Seminyak and everything is great here. Booked the deluxe room, the room is quite large and also clean. Our room overlooked the pool and the ocean and being very spacious with a Jacuzzi was fantastic. When my husband and I arrive in the hotel, one of the hotel staffs carrying our luggage, handle the check in process and the other took the drink from the Bar. It is nice; the staffs are so kind, friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were fantastic. There are two outdoor swimming pools, complete with sunken bar. Nice big toddler pool for kids and plenty of sun beds. As for location, if you don’t want to pay the super high prices of the Legian and Oberoi then the Resort can’t be matched. It's right next to Ku De Ta and a short walk to lots of good restaurants and bars. A 25 min walk south down the beach will also bring you to Kuta beach and the town behind for further options.
There is a lovely little beach side cafe staffed by Balinese towards Tanah Lot and we had a large snack, 3 courses with 5 drinks. Also you must go to Ultimo, it says it’s an Italian restaurant but they serve a wide range of food. Its looks very up market and the food is to die for. We had 4 courses each with wine, cocktails.
Tip:
Try breakfast and dinner at Ku De Ta

Excellent wind day after a long trop. It was good to have friendly staff, and a nice spacious area to relax.
The building has character, some may say it is aging however the great food and it is a short walk to some other wonderful restaurants I found on the net.
Grabbed myself a vehicle and driver through this site and visited several great locations including visiting a template at Tanah Lot and Balinese dancing in Ubud.
I recommend this hotel to those who want to get a little bit more quietness while in Bali.

Great service, good breakfast, fantastic location on the Seminyak beach far away from Kuta. I stayed at several hotels in Bali but will for sure choose this again next time I am back! Read more | | |
