The Hotel was well located just across the road from the beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The staff and service was excellent and they made us feel welcome on arrival. Every one of the staff we came into contact with daily greeted us with a smile and a bow even down to the pool attendant handing out towels. (He placed a flower in-between the towels to make them look more attractive) The buffet breakfast was excellent and had a wide choice on offer to appeal to all tastes and nationalities. This was a the first time that my husband and I had been away together without the children and it was a Hotel I would recommend for couples and definitely go back to. The Hotel pool on the top floor was a real wow and a surprise when we saw its location. It is an infinity pool and looks directly over Kuta beach. We normally holiday in Bali but stay in another place, but this was a much more laid back romantic setting, made more special by the staff and general atmosphere of the Hotel.

The Mercure Kuta is a great option while have a holiday in Bali. The beautiful sunset panoramas that can be seen from the balcony outside the room are fantastic, and also the sunrise at the morning with the sky colored in blue. The hotel has a great swimming pool that I can as it gets hotter approaching noon. The staff is very kind and helpful. They assisted me when I lost my key, and handled the situation promptly. The meal is good, but if don’t like, you can enjoy the other meal in restaurants near the hotels. The room is large and I stayed in a deluxe ocean room. Very clean with uninterrupted views of the ocean. I location is convenient. Situated on main road of Kuta and in front of the famous Kuta Beach, Mercure Hotel has everything expected of a hotel of this rating. Enjoy the friendly staff, the lovely swimming pool, the tasty food and excellent service. It is an enjoyable stay, but my advice is to book way in advance, as I had problems getting a room.

Beachfront hotel, very busy but well located. Especially loved swimming on the roof top pool. Will stay here again sometime.

My friends and I stayed here, and we had a wild time. Best location, cool pool on the roof top, and if you get bored of wining and dining here go next door to the Hard Rock. Starbucks and Kuta square just around the corner. Spent most of our days on the beach. We did surfing classes, booked at Hard Rock next door, and spend the rest of our stay practicing. Hotel rooms are a little small but if you are out and about most of the time, no worries!
