Hello, we found the hotel to be superb and the atmosphere for breakfast overlooking the beach and promenade so beautiful. If you are wishing a family holiday with a boutique luxurious feel this hotel rates 5/5 for style and service. Admittedly we upgraded to deluxe with connecting rooms for our children and thought upon arrival that it was really magical. A lovely designed and well maintained hotel at the beach. This is a relaxed environment, good service at the rooms and in the cozy restaurant. Prices for meals are reasonable. Pools adequate for swim. The beach allows swimming ONLY at high tide. Some negative points. Front desk staff lacks professionalism. They are friendly but inefficient. Majority of the rooms face a garden and not the sea. In comparison with other hotels in Sanur, this one is a very good deal. Thank you we only regretted later not staying at the sister hotel in Sanur the puri. Cheers.

My husband and I have just arrived from Bali for our honey moon time. We stay at Griya Santrian for 10 days and it is perfect for our. It was the second part of our honeymoon after staying in fantastic Singapore for the first three nights. We arrived at the hotel in the evening, and were welcomed by the sound of Balinese music playing faintly in the background, which sounds as if it is being played in the beautiful gardens that surround it. The staffs were very welcoming and helpful, and we were shown to our room by the porter who helped us with our bags. Some of them give us welcome drinks, towels and snacks. Our room was a deluxe garden wing and was way beyond our expectations. The main living area contained a sofa, coffee table, TV unit with brewing facilities and a mini bar. But the main thing that attracted our attention was the huge bed which was set out like a four poster. This had very handy mosquito nets which you could drop down before going to sleep. There were also flowers left by each pillow, which the cleaning staffs replace each day. At the front of the apartment was a large patio area with a large chair with foot rest, and also a table and two chairs. This was perfect for chilling with a book in the shade after a long day soaking up the sun. The Wantilan Restaurant is situated behind the pool bar, and is lit beautifully at night. This is also where breakfast is served in the morning, where incidentally two Balinese musicians play local traditional music while you sit with a view of the beach/sea. As for the beach, this is a 3 second walk from the pool/bar area, and is a beautiful sandy beach with the sea a short hop off of one of the sun beds away. Towels are booked out from staffs near the pool, who give you a comfy mat to place on your sun bed. The beach is fantastic with a nice breeze which keeps the intense sun at a manageable level. Perfect place for perfect honey moon. Definitely, will back again.

We like the Griya Santrian. located right at the Sanur beach with quiet nice pools and a green garden. Not too big. Staff is Very friendly. A delicious b'fast, Always new beach towels and bottles of water every day. Good restaurants in the neighborhood and at beach. Nice satay or "nasi campur". I would go back again next near puture!
