We stayed at Bali Tropic Resort and found the room to be generally acceptable in size, cleanliness but he general upkeep of the public facilities were somewhat lacking.
We walked the beach and visited other neighboring hotels. In contrast, the Bali Tropic had fewer facilities and was clearly the poor neighbor. On the other hand, the staffs were extremely friendly and helpful. One of the major problems was the abundance of mosquitoes. The hotel needs to spray on a more regular basis.
Nice resort. We really enjoyed our stay there, should have spent more days. The resort even organized some activities near the pool area. Breakfast spread is quite good. Beach looks not as clean. But still we really enjoyed our stay there.
Will go back again.

This was our first trip to Bali, and this is becomes the most relaxing holidays ever! The resort is wonderful, even though I was surprised how close to the road it was, but the road noise did not really bother us. We loved the fact that the hotel was very Balinese in style and we truly felt we were enjoying the full Bali experience. The rooms, and we had deluxe bungalow, were second to none. The spaciousness of the rooms complete with two large beds was certainly above average and the cleanliness was first class and a great big bath -big enough for two, a large shower room and toilet. The food, and we were on all-inclusive basis, was great. The service is excellent. The staffs were so polite, friendly and helpful, always happy to share a smile and always willing to help in anyway they could. They always try and help you when you ask. There is also a very nice spa area where you can relax during a massage or a special bath. The pool was lovely and a welcome respite from the heat with a swim up bar.
We went diving several times and had a wonderful time, seeing a lot of the island when on our trip up to Tulamben on the East coast. Do drive to Jimbaran and enjoy the sunset during your dinner. The volcano, lakes, rice fields and temples are really worth a trip and if you can, then stay a night in Ubud, go shopping, visit the monkey forest ( in the morning ) and the Kings palace.

After searching the net for a place to stay in Bali we came across this place and checked out a few reviews as you all know pictures can be deceiving however we took a gamble on what we have read and booked. Was it worth it...yes. Were the rooms ok...yes. Staff friendly...yes. Too many yes's to list. We meet a couple on there Bali honeymoon and they were wrapped at the service they received which made me believe we had made the right choice. Bali is a great place, Bali weather was prefect and the Bali Tropic Resort is a magnificant place. Read more |
