Comment by: Mathin_Fung56 on Thu, 26 Jun 2008 05:07:53 from Thailand Average : 4/5 | Having stayed here many years ago, and decide to booked again in this vacation. We booked the superior bungalow. The rooms are average at best, with marks on the towels and floors. In addition, the staffs seem to not be that bothered to even smile at you. The hotel has a perfect location for those who'd like to enjoy Kuta Beach. It has a direct access to the beach via the hotel's swimming pool. Very close to local attractions and plenty of restaurants & cafes. Staffs were friendly, room was clean. Great (grassy) terrace area with large swimming pool too. Local foods in their lunch buffet are very tasty; although they are not well presented for the breakfast. Mostly, they have buffet breakfast with Indonesian style, fried rice, omelet, tea, coffee, and sometimes complete with croissant and any bread.
The location and the swimming pool are the best things in this hotel. It is near to anywhere. To the shopping center, Discovery shopping mall, to the restaurants, to the coffee shops, especially the ‘Start Bucks’ café, and also have direct access to the Kuta beach.
The other things that need to remember by the hotel are, they need to make some renovation to the hotel the room and also the lobby. It looks old. But over all, we enjoyed stay here.

The room and location was great for family holiday. The hotel has a perfect location, right next to Kuta beach and the traditional market. The staff are friendly and helpful. They serve me the same with the other guests as I am local guests. The room was clean although it’s not too large. For breakfast they offer buffet set with Indonesian style or western food. They have great terrace and garden which have access to the pool. The best thing in this hotel is the pool. The swimming pool is large and right beside the beach. From here I can enjoyed the beauty scenery of Kuta beach.

However I was not too happy about the hotel. It was quite dusty and stains in the bathrooms. Requires renovation or a good make over.
The staff were not has helpful as expected and we had some communication problems over the phone to such a degree that I had to come down to the front desk to explain.
By the way, the pool was huge and spent most of our time between the beach and the pool. Read more | | |
