My first time in Bali and I was so impressed with the polite and helpful staff at your hotel - the beautiful room and magnificent view. Breakfast was great - we could have sat there all day! Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable. They have many varieties for breakfast, fried rice, bread, tea, coffee, fruits, etc. The garden looks so pretty at night and also the swimming pool. We usually spend our day in the pool. Sometimes we go outside and find some good restaurants near. We also go to Lebih beach to taste the Sate, fish, grill fish, etc. it is a little bit spicy, but it is tasty. I love Bali, definitely we will back again.

We are 3 beautiful women and stay in Cahaya Dewata for 6 nights. The room was ready when we arrive 1 hour earlier. The hotel was very peaceful and quiet when we arrived. It was as if we were the only guests there. We only got to meet other hotel guests at meal times. We got a junior suite as requested. It was large and decent. Staffs friendly and helpful. Room: The bathroom towels were thin, not plush. The air-conditioning unit worked perfectly. And we got hot showers when needed. Food: The food and beverage was nice. Not splendid, but nice. The buffet luncheon was adequate. Experience: The water in the pool looked a little cloudy. It'd be better if you swim in the river nearby, but don’t wear swim suite. Cahaya Dewata is not for the faint-hearted. It is suitable for the romantic adventurer looking for character and the true rural Balinese experience. I will definitely come back for the view and the staff.

The hotel is quite standard but the views are awesome. We could see the tropical forest and the river. We stayed in a junior suite, which was not that clean, so we complained and they came the next morning and gave it a good clean. By the way, even though the room was old it was rather big so good value. The staff were average, not unfriendly but not that friendly either. We had bigger smiles and more friendly attitude the few nights we stayed in Kuta at the Mercure Hotel. Neverthe less you cannot beat the views and privacy here.
