Comment by: Katerina_Mumble44 on Thu, 26 Jun 2008 07:50:24 from German Average : 4/5 | The hotel was traditional and had a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. It was very close to the beach and within easy walking distance of both Kuta and Legian. You could watch the sun set over the Indian Ocean from the pool area which had plenty of sun-loungers and towels. The Bali Mandira was an exceptional resort, the staffs were amazingly courteous and helpful and the food was very good.
I enjoyed the open grass area around the pool side. Thought however there could have been more atmospheres during the day. Maybe include a games area, such as pool table, ping pong table.
Everything about this resort was great, would definitely recommend and return in the future.

The security check before we going in to the hotels, the friendly staffs that will offer the best services for all the guests, the room, enough for 2 person in tower wing room, its clean, comfort and large. Modern room is lovely, clean, nice lighting, ok beds, very nice bathroom. Cottage rooms come with chairs and a coffee table outside I think, and modern rooms have a terrace, a balcony or a raised platform inside the room. Beside that the food is also nice; they usually cooked fried rice, bread for breakfast and milk, coffee or tea. It’s nice. The pool area of the hotel is separated by a non-motorized road from the nice beach and beautiful ocean.
The location: this lovely place to stay. Located right on the beach and you can walk down to the beach without leaving the hotel grounds. Many shops and restaurants near the hotels. Basically, the Mandira is somewhere I would recommend to any one looking for a quality escape in the heart of Bali - it is close to the heart of Kuta, but not too close, Luxurious, but not over the top, and the service and staff are easy, relaxed and very natural. The situation is not too crowed such in Kuta. Here its quite and comfort.
I will definitely be coming back.
