Average : 4/5 | My friends and I stay here for 5 days 4 nights. The hotel location is in front of the Kuta beach and not far from Legian beach and Legian street but a little bit too far from Kuta Square. They have standard room. The room is not large but it is clean. The bed is comfort. T the beginning day, we had buffet breakfast. The taste is so-so. The friendly staffs are always keeping smiling all the day. The swimming pool is big and clean.
We took the surfing course at the beach and also walking down to the street to looks around. There are many tasty restaurants and great Bar at Poppies Line II. They open in the morning for breakfast and till mid night for Bar and Karaoke.
Overall Grand Istana Rama is recommended for budget traveler.

Average : 4/5 | My friend and I stayed at the Grand Istana Rama for 3 nights and it was great to stay there. The facilities, the services and the staffs are great. When we arrived at the hotel, one of the staff give us a local fruit and it tasted good. We stayed in a deluxe room and it was clean and cozy, bathroom was nice with plenty of hot water. The food is good and if we wanted some thing different for breakfast we asked the hotel staff the day before and they prepared it for us. We also had breakfast on the patio which overlooks the beach. The pool area was very clean, and the pool attendants were very helpful and polite.
There were plenty of taxis right outside the hotel, they were cheap took us where ever we wanted to go. Really liked staying here and sitting on the patio watching the beautiful views of Bali.
