We booked the Yulia village in Dec along Christmas Holiday. We booked the room for 7 nights. To go there we have to rent a car and driving for 30-45 minutes from the airport. After long distance and boring flights, we finally arrived in the hotel. The first time we arrive I have bad impression for the hotel. It was an old hotel I think. And when we were coming in, it is really an old hotel, but it is very clean and also the staffs are very friendly. After checking process and they served us a welcoming drink they took us to our room. We take the deluxe room. The room is small, but it is comfort and clean. it is fix for us as we are family with little child (2 y.o). Breakfast in the room include in the room rate. They only have breakfast in Indonesian style, but when we wants breakfast in Western, I asked the chef to make it the day before. The best things in this hotel are the staffs. They are very helpful on the check out day, I have to breast feeding my baby and then the hotel staff helps me to find the bottle where I can store by breast milk and a mini cool box. I love this place; the friendly and helpful staffs will always remembering me all the time. Definitely we will back here again.

Felt I needed more time in Ubud so I ended up at the Yulia. It was the week leading up to Christmas and most places were already. It was okay. The location was great. I took the deluxe room and stay here for 2 nights. The room is small with ceiling fan above, and nothings are in the wall. The TV is also small. The bathroom is good. The breakfast just fine, but the afternoon tea is perfect. I try the pudding and really like the ‘Black Rice pudding’. The location is great, near to Ubud village and Ubud art market. The best deal is the suckling pig in the ubud art market; it is delicious but a little bit spicy. Over all, this hotel is great, as the price is not too expensive. But the services that give by the staffs are excellence.
