The staffs so nice and welcoming with chilled fresh towels and a drink in our arrival. Hotel garden is well trimmed and appealing as well as the infinity pool. The pool though seemed to have some kind of chemical that both I and my partner had some reaction to. When swimming in the pool it felt like small needles stinger the skin, especially in the face. We never new what it was, and when asking we got the answer that it was just salt in the pool.
Service was the best. No problem of using the shuttle bus seeing the other Komaneka hotel in Tanggayuda. We even got our private tour there and offered a drink and afternoon tea there. On our way back we got our own private tour at the upcoming 3rd Komaneka Hotel at Jl. Bisma in Ubud.
Absolutely fantastic experience staying with Komaneka.

Set back from the street, you walk out of the resort directly onto Monkey Forest Road. The market and palace is a short walk. The Monkey Forest Sanctuary is 3 to 4 blocks the other direction. Excellent restaurants such as ‘Cafe Wayan’ and ‘Three Monkeys’ are close. It is very convenient for shopping and eating yet feels private and remote.
We had the standard room, which had a beautiful outdoor shower with a large, sunken tub. But the next two day we are moving to Valley pool view. The room complete with pool plunge and also verandah and Bale. From here we can see the beautiful panorama. It also had a small garden where we could sit and read, having our afternoon tea. We enjoyed using the swimming pool which was usually empty. They offer some free classes and activities which were a nice bonus. The spa has a free steam shower and Jacuzzi which I enjoyed but I didn't do any of the paid spa activities.
The breakfast is great and also staffs.
Definitely will back here again, the lovely place, especially the pool.

Relaxed most days and spend some evening shopping and eating in Ubud. Staff friendly and very helpful.
I will come here again. Enjoyed. Read more | | |
