We stay in Champlung sari for 3 days. The first day we coming to the hotel we booked the standard room, but after we check in and see the room situation then we decide to upgrade our room to deluxe room. This is larger than the standard room and also the facilities here completer than the standard room. The room also completes with outdoor shower bathroom and it is very nice for me. I like the outdoor shower.
This hotel located near one of the tourist destination: the Monkey Forests. In the afternoon, many of them come in into the hotel, so it is not saving for the guests and we can enjoy the time in the pool at the afternoon. Beside that, there are also shops and local art shop near the hotel.
We take taxi to go to Ubud palace. We love all the things here, except the monkeys. Definitely we will back again.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. The Champlung Sari hotel is directly across from Monkey Forest and so is located in a good area about 10/15 minutes walk to the main markets etc. Many of restaurants, spa/massage/reflexology and art shops on the street. The room was spacious enough although bathrooms in the standard rooms are tired but still very clean. Swimming pool is refreshing after a day of sightseeing, shopping etc. Staffs are friendly and welcoming. Foods are average, because there are not many varieties for the breakfast.
Would recommend staying there again on my next trip to Ubud.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a flying visit from Jakarta to Lombok. Thought the hotel itself and its gardens were lovely, as were perhaps the majority of the staff also. Hotel exactly located near the Monkey Forest tourism object.
I changed to a deluxe room which had recently been fully renovated and was well worth the extra expense. The tour brochures advise that all rooms have been renovated - this is not the case. The Deluxe room was spacious and much more comfortable. It also included a large semi outdoor bathroom with very modern fittings.
The restaurant served average food with the breakfast being quite bland.
The staffs are nice and friendly.
Sun bathing at the pool can be difficult as the monkeys will steal everything including sunscreen!
Overall, I would rate this hotel as a pleasant 3.5 star hotel. I recommend the deluxe rooms.
I would be happy to stay at this hotel again.

I stayed at the Champlung Sari Hotel for 7 nights, and found it to be clean and the staff friendlty. It is not the best hotel for the area, but you get good value for your money becauyse of handy location.
The propertly is a short distance from the main street and you can see the money forrest from your room.
We spent most of our time driving around the area, and shopping and dining out so this was a good hotel as a base to go from.
Give it a try... Read more |
