I was mighty impressed with the rooms, the service and the cleanliness. I was keen to be out of the hustle and bustle of Kuta with my 2 year old, so the 10-15 min walk, or short taxi trip for shopping suited us fine. The hotel was very child friendly and my daughter was treated like a princess.
Nice - clean rooms in cottages situated in a beautiful garden. Rooms are cleaned - with clean sleeves and towels every day. Restaurant is not too tasty.
I definitely would stay here again

I will definitely return to Bali soon. Adding to my wonderful trip was one of the best resorts I've ever been, Risata Bali Resort. (I stayed in Junior Suite.) Not in term of luxury scale. The rooms are quite spacious, has air-con that actually works and hot water. You also get bottled water every morning. The only downside is that there are no bath tubs in the rooms. The pool is huge with a swim up bar. The restaurant is very nice with well priced meals (for resort prices) There are also daily activities and information sessions around the pool area.
There are lots of very good, very cheap restaurants located nearby and because it is not close to Legian St, the prices were very competitive, and quality of foods outstanding. Pantai Kuta Restaurant is on the beach, just around the corner for beautiful, fresh seafood. It is 5 minutes walk to the Centro Shopping Mall, Waterbom Park area. Centro has THE BEST bakery ever invented, and also genuine, brand name shopping outlets.
Next time in Bali will stay at Risata for sure.

The rooms were average, a little small for my liking.
The staff were over the top with their service. I know tipping is not standard in Bali, but the staff seemed to like me tipping them.
Only bad point was that the beach which was closest to us was not that good, had to head down to Kuta main area to get some decent sand and waves. Nevertheless still a great hotel to stay! Read more | | |
