On our last vacation to Bali at the beginning of this year we chose to stay in Karangasem. As some of my friends said that there is a place for diving here atthe beach in Karangasem. It has beautiful undersea panoramas. We stayed in Indra Udhyana for 4 days. We chose to stay here for many reasons, one of then is because this hotel is close to the diving center and also the beach. The only time we are at the hotel is when we sleep. . After we had breakfast in the hotel we go to the beach to have our diving lesson and when we back to hotel it is already late, just have a shower, dinner at a local restaurant near the hotel and then sleep. Although we spent little time at the hotel it is quite good, it is clean and comfort. The room is standard and complete with a small bathroom with shower and a bathtub. The staff are very kind and helpful. Breakfast is so so, standard with not much variation. Overall this is a good hotel to stay, if you are spending your time out of the hotel, diving etc.

This is a very, very nice hotel. We stayed in one of the ocean view bungalow for 5 nights. They have beautiful beach. The room is spacious, clean and comfort. There is also verandah outside the room from here we can see the beautiful of the beach and sunrise in the morning. They have good breakfast. The staffs are nice and friendly. At the first night we stay my baby is sick, then one of the hotel staff took us to the hospital and the next day, he also asking about my baby’s condition. The rooms are very pleasant, yes there are mosquitoes (as mentioned in a previous members review), but each room has bug spray and some of the rooms have nets for the beds. This is not a problem though, take some roll-on repellent and you will be fine. There are mosquitoes in most hotels. Ahmed is a very quiet place, so don't go there looking for great shopping or choice of night-life. This is a quiet and peaceful retreat away from it all. There are bays all around the hotel with great views. The snorkeling is very good just in front of the hotel. The sea is only 30ft or so from the pool. Definitely would stay here again. Really appreciate for the staff attention and help.
