We enjoyed 4 nights at Hotel Tjampuhan, and would go back tomorrow. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views, and great walks close by. Don't expect luxury (no TV, bar fridge, hairdryer) or 5 stars cleanliness hotel, but do expect quiet relaxation amidst a beautiful tropical jungle. Be prepared for a lot of walking up and down many stairs each day, especially if you're staying in Lebah rooms at the bottom!! The staffs were very friendly, and always helpful. The breakfast room is in an amazing setting. All-in-all, great value for money. First of all... fantastic location and staffs are friendly, but after we come in to the hotel every things is perfect, fantastic and beautiful here. He first day we went to Lebih Beach and have Balinese seafood there, they have ‘Sate’ and soup. It all delicious, as it is a little bit spicy, but I like it. Then we also went to Ubud arts market, we bought paintings, bags, clothes and many other things here. Love and we will back here again.

We stay here with our two kinds (6, 10 years old). The Tjampuhan is lovely - the setting is lush jungle with a river below, a short walk to the town about 10 minutes. The hotel also offered a shuttle bus and if times weren't convenient, then transport was easy to find outside the hotel. The room and bathroom: - We took another room called River 1 which was even better for us as it was a huge double storey loft room with the kids sleeping upstairs in the loft and us downstairs. The room was lovely. - Bathroom is spacious and nice with marble bathroom. Pool: - Nice pools, quiet location and complete with sun lounge. Other: Wi-Fi was available in the restaurant and reception areas. My husband needs it. PS - If you are feeling cashed up, have a dinner out at “Mosiac restaurant”. It would have to be one of the best meals we have had in our lives!!

I'll give the Hotel Tjampuan the thumbs up... was a nice place to stay for my week in Bali, the staff are friendly and the service good. My room was spacious and well serviced which was impressing. Breakfast everyday was so filling that I only needed one meal each day. They could have some type of entertainment at night though would have been nice. The pool was awesome and the massage was to die for...couldn't get enough.
